  3. go-crap and gen-contract

    Two tools written for Nexus. go-crap is a CRAP-score and mutation-testing CLI used to drive every module to complexity and coverage bars; gen-contract is an annotation-driven API-contract and OpenAPI generator, enforced in CI.

    A self-hosted household computing platform — a physical appliance that gives a family shared identity, photos and documents, applications and private AI agents without surrendering their data to a cloud. Built solo, bare metal to a stranger-installable appliance, in six months.

    The first cut at a household data layer — the platform owned the bytes behind a custom API and a forked Immich. Abandoned, and later retrodicted by the platform-formation framework: the byte layer is exactly where the abstraction inequality fails.
