Graduate research in neural networks and computational neuroscience — a 3D robotic simulator evolving artificial neural networks, a biological-neuron electrophysiology simulator. Programming mentor at the K-20 Center; president of the Bolivian International Student Association.

M.S. 2013 · BISA president 2009–10 · K-20 Center mentor 2010–13

Graduate school was neural networks and computational neuroscience: I engineered a 3D robotic simulator that evolved artificial neural networks with evolutionary algorithms, studied information coding in biological networks, and built a neuron electrophysiology simulator that the biology department still uses. Local AI isn’t a bandwagon for me; it’s a return to where I started.

Alongside it: programming mentor at the K-20 Center, training new programmers in software development and code standards, and president of the Bolivian International Student Association.
