Referenced, not copied
Every shared fact has one designated, accountable source. Everyone else references it. A copy is a liability that drifts.
This is the founding rule of BC’s authoritative-data program, and it is harder than it sounds: it requires naming who is accountable for each fact, building the register that exposes it, and making referencing easier than copying. The single-registration model does that at the gate — one validated manifest projects into every platform register, so governance is enforced where the technical checks already run.
It is also the rule this site follows. Four résumés and a LinkedIn profile used to each hold their own copy of my history and drift apart. Now they derive from here.
